Aaaargh! It’s a MonstrousCollab!
Inspired by the cover of Computers Arts Projects Issue #139, Thomas Bates has taken the role of an illustrative Dr. Frankenstein, digging up 25 eager illustrators to take part in his new project, MonstrousCollab. Each artist is given the digital canvas in turn, expanding upon the work of the previous artists, until they’ve all added their magic touches.
The list of participants hasn’t been published on the site yet, but I’m happy to announce that I’m one of them! For now, you can find the rest of the list here, on the project’s Twitter account.

Say Hello to Nice Hot Cuppa
Well, this has been a long time coming. I bought this domain a couple of years ago, knowing that I wanted to create a studio name for myself, but not being quite sure exactly what to do with it. There’s been various reasons for the delay in getting this up, from having to go back into employment to get some money in the bank, to moving house, being undecisive on the website design, and (let’s be honest) just being damn lazy at times… But I got there, at last!
The portfolio section is there to display my best, finished work, but I wanted a place on here to show off my sketches and scribbles, things that catch my eye on my feeds, and any other guff that comes to mind.
I’m hoping to have a giveaway on here in the next few days to kick things off, so add this to your RSS reader and keep an eye out…
